Refund policy

Customers who are consumers within the meaning of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (“KSchG”) have the following right of withdrawal:

1. The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

2. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day (in the case of a purchase contract) on which the customer or a third party named by them, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.

3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform spottle GmbH of their decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or e-mail) addressed to: spottle GmbH, Halleiner Landesstraße 53/1, 5061 Elsbethen, Austria (tel.: +43 662 62 78 30) or via email: support@spottle.net. The customer may use the model withdrawal form (see below) or submit any other clear statement.

4. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the customer to send the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

5. If the customer withdraws from the contract, spottle GmbH will reimburse all payments received from the customer, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which the notice of withdrawal was received. For this reimbursement, the same means of payment will be used as for the original transaction, unless something different has been explicitly agreed upon; under no circumstances will the customer be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

6. spottle GmbH may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been returned or until the customer has supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier. The customer must return or hand over the goods promptly and in any event no later than 14 days from the day they notified spottle GmbH of the withdrawal. The return should be made to:

The deadline is met if the goods are sent before the 14-day period has expired. The customer bears the direct costs of returning the goods. The customer is only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

8. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal: There is no right of withdrawal for goods that are made to customer specifications or are clearly tailored to personal needs. Additionally, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are sealed and are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if the seal was removed after delivery.
